WHERE?

The start is right off the West Side bike path at 145th Street — just north of the Harlem Piers. The closest subway stations are the 145 St stations on the 1, A, B, C, and D lines.

All routes go up the West Side Bike Path and over the George Washington Bridge – a beautiful view first thing in the morning! The routes will be clearly marked according to distance.

The festival at the finishing line will be on the banks of the Hudson River, right off the bike path between 145th and 150th Streets.

WILL THERE BE FOOD?

Of course! There will be rest stops every 10 – 20 miles to keep you fueled up, and a great, open buffet at the finishing line.

WHAT IF MY BIKE BREAKS DOWN?

There will be bike maintenance at the pit stops, and a SAG vehicle to help you along the route. Emergency phone numbers will be provided on your cue sheet. You will not be abandoned.

ANY SAFETY RULES?

Yes. Bike Helmets must be worn while riding, and all local traffic rules must be adhered to. Single file riding is not only the safest, it is also polite to your fellow cyclists! Be kind – ride behind.

AND AFTERWARDS?

Festival and food! At the finishing line, there will be a lavish picnic buffet, entertainment, and free massages.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Hopefully as great as last year, but we do ride rain or shine. Since most of our costs are incurred before the ride, we can not offer refunds because of the weather.

ANYTHING ELSE?

  • Cue sheets will available at the start.
  • All routes will be clearly marked.
